On Friday, August 5th, the River of Life children hosted their Dangerously Pure Children's Conference - for kidz by kidz! This fun & destiny-filled day included worship, preaching, testimonies, prayer & ministry - all done by the children.

Throughout the day the children participated in:

Flag Project: Each team designed their own team flag representing each team member and their team’s character trait: Honor, Honesty, Respect, Obedience, Faithfulness, Loyalty.

Altar of Remembrance Project: In Joshua 3 & 4 is the story of how Joshua and the people of Israel were instructed by God to cross the Jordan River with the ark of the Covenant. When they people of God obeyed and stepped into the river, God parted the waters and they crossed on dry land. God miraculously provided a way and Joshua instructed the people to take stones from the river to build an Altar of Remembrance. At the Dangerously Pure Conference, each child picked a stone out of our "river" and built their own Altar of Remembrance - so they would forever remember what God spoke and did in them at the conference. Within this project, the children also marked their stone with the character traits and giftings the Lord has given them.

Treasure Hunt: Each team completed a series of Scripture puzzles, mazes and decoded a treasure map to find their treasure, the “pearl of great price.”

At the end At the end of the day, the conference concluded with a powerful Dangerously Pure Celebration Service – that was open to all, including parents, family, friends & neighbors. The worship, preaching, testimonies & prayer during this Celebration Service was done by all of the children who attended the conference! The children also did their Armed & Dangerous human video that they had learned during the conference.

“I was sooo scared when I came in today and I wanted my Grandma to take me home. Then everyone started singing (worship) and I wasn't scared any more - it was gone and I wanted to stay.” Later that day, “This is the best day of my life!” 8 year old boy


“God told me He doesn’t want me to date right now. He has other stuff he wants to do in me and He wants me to focus on that stuff right now instead of girls.” 12 year old boy

All ministry & activities done by/with the children during the Dangerously Pure Children's Conference
was adult-supervised by members of the River of Life team.
